Ionanofluids Prepared from a Series of Ionic Liquids: Preparation, Heat Capacity Measurement and Advanced Data Analysis by\nMathematical Gnostics.
Parmar, Nirmal
In the present work, isobaric heat capacity was measured as a function of temperature for the prepared ionanofluids samples.\nMoreover the influence of the size of the ion of ionic liquid on the isobaric heat capacity of ionanofluids was studied.

Wagner, Zdeněk ; Kovanic, P. ; Zíková, Naděžda ; Ondráček, Jakub ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Ždímal, Vladimír
The aim of the work is thus development of a robust algorithm for detection of such errors and their fully automatic correction. The algorithm should be fast so that it could be applied in real time.

Partition Coefficients Octanol-water of Selected (–)-Menthol-Substituted Chiral Ionic Liquids.
Andresová, Adéla ; Feder-Kubis, J. ; Florianová, M. ; Basarabová, B. ; Čubová, K. ; Bendová, Magdalena
Octanol-water partition coefficients, log P, may be considered as one of the indicators for the tendency to bioaccumulation. For this reason, log P was measured as a function of the alkyl chain length on the cation for selected species of the 1–[(1R, 2S, 5R)-(–)-menthoxymethyl]-3-alkylimidazolium chloride ionic liquid series. The data were processed by means of mathematical gnostics to evaluate the relationship between the structure of the studied ionic liquids and log P.
Physicochemical Characterization of Chiral Ionic Liquids for Their Applications.
Andresová, Adéla ; Bendová, Magdalena ; Wagner, Zdeněk ; Husson, P. ; Feder-Kubis, J. ; Traïkia, M.
In this work, we address a thermodynamic characterization of a homologous series of 1–[(1R, 2S, 5R)-(–)-menthoxymethyl]-3-alkylimidazolium bis{(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl} imide ionic liquids. The alkyl chain length ranges from methyl to dodecyl. In this study, our attention is focused on the thermodynamic properties of the pure CILs, i.e. on their heat capacities, densities, viscosities, and self-diffusion coefficients of the cations. The second level is to gain a deeper understanding of the structure-property relationships. Data analysis was carried out by means of mathematical gnostics.
Advanced Data Analysis for Industrial Applications
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Kovanic, Pavel
One of the principal tasks of nowaday's industry is process intensification. The methodology for finding reliable results is highly demanded. While marketing is concentrated on analysis big data that are available in eShops as well as other internet media, the situation in the industry is different because solution must be found in real time based on limited amount of data. The algorithms of data analysis must therefore be fast and robust. In the last few decades statistical methods have advanced considerably but a new, nonstatistical approach to uncertainty, called mathematical gnostics, have also be developed. This new approach is based upon the fundamental laws of nature and robustness is its inherent property. The contribution will present several applications with the emphasis laid upon description of the main features of mathematical gnostics. Previous applications in energetics that can be enhanced by use of the modern algorithms of data analysis will also be mentioned.

Robust Approach for Environmental and Health Practice: Novel Paradigm for Data Treatment and Analysis
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Ocelka, T. ; Pavliska, L.
Knowledge of concentration of atmospheric aerosol particles may provide an important information in applications concerning human health. Aerosol studies reach into several fields of science. In the past decades it was shown that enhanced concentration of atmospheric aerosol lead to increased mortality on cardiopulmonary diseases and lung cancer. This work presents a robust method of estimation of particle size distribution based on mathematical gnostics. The algorithm may either be used as a manual tool for analyzing a small number of particle size distributions ex post or as a routine implemented in automatic monitoring devices for near real time processing of measured data and immediate online display on a web site. The method has sucessfully been implemented for near real time analysis of data measured by a scanning mobility particle sizer conformant to recommendations defined in the framework of the EUSAAR project.

Analysis of Near Real Time Data on Particle Size Distribution in Atmospheric Aerosol and Their Presentation in International Databases.
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Fridrich, Miroslav ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Ždímal, Vladimír
One of the objectives of the international project EUSAAR was the calibration of measuring instruments, and standardization of methods of measurement of quantities that are related to the air quality. Formats for data exchange and storage were also standardized and infrastructure for the transmission of data from all European stations to the central database in near real time (NRT) was developed. Centrally available data can serve theoreticians to develop and test models of the atmosphere, the data provided in near real time can be used for improving the quality of short-term weather forecasting and risk assessment for unusual events (volcanic eruptions, release of pollutants from factories).
